Central processing unit (CPU)
The Central Processing Unit (CPU) also know as the processor, is the part of a computer system that carries out two things, one is the instructions of a computer program, and computer's functions. The CPU is the primary element of the computer functions. CPU this word has been in use in the computer industry at least since the early 1960s. The form, design and use of CPUs have changed but their main operation remains the same.
